Sophia Ravi

I’m good with money and I know Bill Mo like the back of my hand

Omar Fikree

Let’s be honest, Bill Mo has potential, but we can make it even better.
If elected Vice-Chair & Treasurer, my goal is simple: make hall life more fun, get people involved, and make sure your ideas don’t get ignored.
Let’s revive the parties. I may not organise socials, BUT I do have a say in the funding 👀. I’ll push for a bigger budget that gives our Social Secs more room to get creative.
Social Secs, no pressure… but we're expecting big things. 😂
Your hall, your say. I’ll listen to your ideas and push for realistic changes (within budget, obviously 🙄).
Making every pound count. I’ll make sure our money goes towards things residents actually enjoy. Now listen, I love our common room, but it definitely needs a glow-up 👀. I’ll find realistic ways to improve our shared space and make Bill Mo an even better place to live.
As a former school football captain, I know a good team works when everyone feels involved. I’ll bring that same energy and commitment to the committee.
Vote for me. Let’s make Bill Mo even better - and make hall life worth remembering. ❤️

Social Secretary

The social secretary will be required to be responsible for all social activities of the hall, providing a range of different events; Work with external partners to organise events and promote Local Businesses in Loughborough; Responsible for Bill Mo Day, Winter and Summer Ball, Freshers and Re-Freshers; Consult and work closely with Warden team and Chairs.

Edward Attah-Hayford

If successful, I promise to do my best to make sure everyone has knowledge to the opportunities that await them outside of school life. I will work to make events as appealing as possible, from advertising to the actual thing.

Philippe Vu Piette

My goal isn’t just to throw great nights out and have parties, but to make sure everyone in our hall feels genuinely included, involved and excited to show up. I think a great social calendar and event works best when the whole hall feels like a social team and not just a bunch of strangers living across each-other. I would aim to deliver at events (all the way from freshers to summer ball) to actually include and build amazing memories for the next undergraduates to come. How I do it? I think collaboration with the other reps, especially the media (for promotion of the events and accom types and how clear communication builds connections and ‘hype’) is vital. Also engaging with the action reps to build more social engagements and tighter relationships in the halls - which is greatly beneficial as more community fuels support and participation for our IMS teams. A greater connection and inclusion also helps make people feel less awkward and more confident to speak up, which will help our welfare reps and make the future legacy of Billmo improve with actual honest feedback that people wouldn’t be scared to give.

Jacob Foster

I’ll do anything for bill mo 🙏as/if social sec I’ll lock in introducing new socials, fancy dress events and nights out to replace those boring luff mid weeks and Friday nights when people start suggesting going ‘firefly’.

I’ll keep the punch parties going big and strong - who wants to pay for alcohol?

Also I’ll try fix SU bcos getting hey ewe tickets is rash rn and why are u all trying to resell for £20 on the gc nobody wants that

Big credit to social sec My-Anh for putting me (dbi) forward. Even if I don’t get in I still want to jump in the fountain. Up the bill Mo💙💙

Male Sports Secretary

The Sports Secretary will promote Intramural sport; Organise teams for ODE's and weekly league games; Manage sales and inventory of IMS kit; Book sports pitches for training and additional events; Attend trainings and meetings training.

Maalik Adamson

I’m an athlete who competes in long jump at a high level, so I’m no stranger to pushing boundaries, taking on challenges, and putting myself out there. If elected, I’m willing to take on athletic stunts, entertaining challenges, and even a bit of social humiliation (within reason!) to bring energy and laughter.
As a candidate for the Sporting Committee, I want to make sport more engaging, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone. I’ll work to encourage more students to participate in sporting activities, promote sporting events, and introduce fresh ideas to get people active and build a stronger sense of community. As an athlete, I understand the importance of teamwork, commitment, and making sport enjoyable for people of all abilities. I’ll listen to students’ ideas and work hard to make sure their voices are heard when decisions are made.
I am most definitely running just for the title but also running for the people of William Morris. I want to help create a sporting community where everyone feels included, has something to look forward to, and feels encouraged to get involved, regardless of their sporting ability. I’ll bring enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to go the extra mile for everyone.
Vote for me: Believe in the me that believes in you

Taylor Mann

If I was to be successful, I would love to continue making William Morris a great sporting environment. This would include encouraging participation for all sports available to us, having fun, engaging and competitive training sessions, and also maintaining high standards for all IMS teams so that Bill Mo can be successful in all sports. Specialising in playing football, I would love to run and be involved in as much as possible helping out all the teams (as well as futsal) but also being involved in other sports. I would aim for us to have more merch for our sports representation (clothes for different weather conditions and a wider range). I think there would be great opportunities for us to have socials as teams, as well as joining up with teams of different sports in our hall, and even different halls.

Okem Azubuike

I’m Okem, and as your Sports Sec I’ll make sure everyone in Bill Mo gets the chance to get involved in IMS.
Having played for both the Bill Mo football and rugby teams, I know how good it feels to get together with friends and take on other halls, whether that’s a one-off ODE or something more committed.
If elected, I’ll collect your ideas for ODEs and push for a wider variety of sports, so there’s something for everyone to try.
Vote for me, and let’s beat Telford.

Lior Flaxman Spiro

I’ll make sure we win it all next year.

Female Sports Secretary

The Sports Secretary will promote Intramural sport; Organise teams for ODE's and weekly league games; Manage sales and inventory of IMS kit; Book sports pitches for training and additional events; Attend trainings and meetings training.

Holly Thewlis

Vote Holly as female sports sec!
As your new female sports sec I want to help create a fun, inclusive and competitive IMS environment where everyone has the opportunity to get involved across a wide range of sports.
I would aim to organise more socials to create high team chemistry, ensure Bill-Mo IMS has the best support of any hall with big attendances at matches by promoting the fixtures, create taster sessions so everyone has the opportunity to try new sports and help Bill-Mo win IMS.
So vote for me if you want more sports socials, unbeatable support, opportunity for everyone and for Bill-Mo to win IMS!

Media & Stash Representative

The Media and Stash Representative will be the social media manager of the hall; Design a range of templates, stash and content for the hall; Take photographs of events and report the outcome; Attend Media & Stash meetings.

Dhiya Chana

As a graphic design student, I’m naturally drawn to making everything as perfect and pretty as can be! My Instagram page is my pride and joy, often getting compliments about its Pinterest-worthy look! I’ll ensure that the social media accounts are both entertaining and visually appealing, with my editing skills and music selection being top-notch. My camera is my best friend, so I have a perfect eye for snapping candid moments. Don’t worry, I promise to make you look fab!! As I’m always behind the camera, I understand the dreaded feeling of someone ambushing you with a lens in your face, but I guarantee to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible, while also capturing the immaculate atmosphere of a Bill Mo event! When it comes to designing the stash, I am very committed to making you look like you’ve stepped straight out of Vogue. Donatella Versace will be gagged ;) #UpTheMo

Eleni Davarias

I want to use social media to promote the hall and raise awareness to everything that goes on inside Bill Mo. I pledge to figure out the login for the bill mo tiktok account and revive it ✌️ I also have a canva pro subscription so I can make the most beautiful stash and content for the hall #MakeBillMoViral2027

Rag Representative

(2 positions available) The Rag Representative will organise and run fundraising events; Promote LSU RAG events; Build volunteer teams for RAG raids; Signpost members who are completing their fundraising; Attend RAG meetings

Leo Smith

I want to make William Morris a hall that brings people together through fundraising, charity and exciting events.
Having organised two Snowdon fundraising trips, raising over £2,000 for YoungMinds and Teenage Cancer Trust, and now leading Loughborough’s 2027 Everest Base Camp challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, I have experience turning fundraising ideas into reality. I’m also an Architecture Course Representative and have experience helping organise events such as Colour Dash.
If elected, I aim to:
* Organise at least two fundraising activities every month, from bake sales and seasonal events to sponsored challenges and charity socials.
* Establish Teenage Cancer Trust as our focus charity for the academic year.
* Set an ambitious collective fundraising target of £5,000.
* Introduce friendly competitions between floors and halls.
* Work with other societies and university groups to create bigger fundraising opportunities.
* Make fundraising accessible to everyone, whether through donating, volunteering or simply getting involved.
I want to be an approachable, energetic and driven representative who listens to residents and turns their ideas into action.
Let’s bring William Morris together, have some fun and raise money for a cause that matters!

Sam Gao

I’m applying to be RAG Representative because fundraising is something I’m already involved in and genuinely enjoy. I’m currently working towards raising £3,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust through the Choose a Challenge Everest Base Camp Trek, which has given me some experience with fundraising and getting people involved in good causes.
If elected, I’d like to use this experience to get more students involved in RAG, help promote fundraising events and come up with new ideas to raise money for charities. I’d also like to make getting involved more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Action Representative

The Action Representative will promote volunteering opportunities within the Hall; supports student engagement in community initiatives; attending Action Hall Representative meetings; recruiting and supporting Hall volunteers; collaborating with Media Reps to publicise Action events.

Petr Lisztwan

If elected as Action Rep, I will continue the work of the previous reps working on takeovers, A Team while finding more ways to help the community, collaborating with other halls and communities within Loughborough, trying to involve as many people as possible. If you are reading this you should volunteer at least once while here, it is very rewarding and enjoyable - give something else a try!
This is the year we win Action hall of the year - no more second place!

Campus & Sustainability Representative

The CAS Representative will teach and promote an environmentally sustainable lifestyle to all hall residents; Attend monthly Sustainability and Campus Hall Representative meetings; Attend termly Estates and Facilities management meetings; Organise campaigns and events that raise awareness of environmental issues or take relevant direct action.

Sofia Lawton

Hey! I’m a first-year Geography and Business Management student with a real passion for sustainability, and I’d love to help make Bilmo greener. At sixth form, I was president of the Eco-Schools Action Team, where we won £2,000 in an electricity-saving challenge. I also did work experience in Unilever’s Sustainability Department, which gave me a better understanding of how businesses can become more sustainable. I’d love to build on these experiences and make a positive difference as Sustainability Rep.
Outside of school work, I play rugby and netball, so I understand the importance of teamwork. I’m sociable, enjoy meeting new people and feel confident sharing ideas and listening to others. I’d love to work with people across Bilmo and other halls to come up with ideas that make student life more sustainable and help make Loughborough greener overall.

Welfare & Diversity Representative

The Welfare & Diversity Representative will organise appropriate events; Promote LSU W&D events; To signpost wellbeing support within university; Ensure any in-hall events are appropriate; Attend Welfare & Diversity meetings

Cade Nesbitt

My name is Cade Nesbit and I study Aeronautical Engineering.
With my role as a representative for welfare and diversity, I approach these issues with an open mindset and seeking areas where the welfare of our community can improve.
My main point of action is to increase awareness and provide information surrounding mental health and its effects on students and university members. Mental health is constantly being overlooked at times during daily life, especially during stressful and trying times or, avoided due to its stigmatised and seemingly uncomfortable nature. Likewise, I aim to provide a voice for our unrepresented communities, dedicating my time into helping those who wish to be seen. I believe an increase in the openness of our community will not just be beneficial on an individual level but also on a larger scale, supporting students, staff and even the Loughborough community.

Tai'bat Owosho

Manifesto pending

Rafael Quinn

Hi everyone,
I am running for Welfare & Diversity Rep because I want to help make our hall a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.

My aim is to help create a hall where everyone feels comfortable being themselves.
Rafael.
