Jai Sambrani
As Social Secretary, my main goal would be to make CP more welcoming, friendly, and connected so that everyone has the chance to become involved, meet new people, and form friendships.
I'd love to introduce themed social throughout the year, maybe even creating CP traditions that residents can look forward to. Whether it's Halloween, Christmas, fancy dress nights or chill nights, I'd make sure to organise variety of events that appeal to different interests, helping bring residents together.
Additionally, I believe there could be more non-alcoholic events, so we get a mix of opportunities to bring people in regardless of whether they drink. Depending on the turnout, I'd explore running them regularly, potentially weekly (if there's enough interest), with quizzes, games, movies or even themed competitions.
Finally, it would be wonderful to collaborate with other halls to have joint socials with, expanding the connections and friendships residents make to across the wider university.
Previously, helping out at games night and supported members of CP community, I believe I bring the enthusiasm, initiative and willingness to be involved. Ultimately, wanting to help make CP a place where people feel included, enjoy events and create long lasting university memories.
Ella Williams
Whether you’re happily riding the waves, or frantically trying to stay afloat, university is a scary yet exciting new chapter for everybody and I believe it should be accessible to all. My name’s Ella, I’m an English with Creative Writing student and am interested in being your CP social rep, hoping to create a fun and welcoming space for all. Whether this be organising chill evening events such as group watch parties or craft evenings, or going all out I’m keen to listen and create a buzzing environment within our hall. As a creative, I believe in going all out and will bring this attitude towards organising events, creating chances for local collaborations and most importantly considering what is in the best interest for our hall. I am open and keen to work alongside others to ensure everyone has their dream uni experience, whether this be big or small and hope to get the chance to represent you all.
Sports Secretary
(2 positions available) The Sports Secretary will promote Intramural sport; Organise teams for ODE's and weekly league games; Manage sales and inventory of IMS kit; Book sports pitches for training and additional events; Attend trainings and meetings training.
Josh Parsons
Thomas Moore
Currently as an IMS coach I see firsthand the lack of participation we have within certain sports, especially Rugby, thus if successful in this application progress I would like to increase participation in the sports which are struggling. This could be through taster sessions or more exposure to hall members to encourage more people to try and hopefully join the IMS environment.
Action Representative
(2 positions available) The Action Representative will promote volunteering opportunities within the Hall; supports student engagement in community initiatives; attending Action Hall Representative meetings; recruiting and supporting Hall volunteers; collaborating with Media Reps to publicise Action events.
Joseph Davis
Hi, I'm Joe, and I believe I would be an effective Action Representative because I have both practical volunteering experience and a strong commitment to helping others get involved. For the past five years, I have volunteered every week at my local athletics club, where I was previously a member. This has shown me the value of giving back to the community and the positive difference that consistent support can make. I have also helped at several events throughout my time at high school and college, developing my teamwork, communication, and organisational skills. If elected, I will actively promote accessible volunteering opportunities and local community projects. I will ensure that everyone knows how to get involved, regardless of their previous experiences and available time. These opportunities can strengthen CVs and applications while also helping you build confidence, develop practical skills, and form valuable connections. Most importantly, I will listen to your interests and help find you meaningful opportunities. If everyone contributes a little, together we can make a significant difference.
Liola Tomczak
Hi, I’m Liola. I've been told I’m very energetic and friendly (which is true; I'm Liola). I value the opportunity to help people out through volunteering. I feel like opportunities for volunteering are vital for building experience when entering the workplace. My aim in this role would be to help build friendships and to develop transferable skills for people through volunteering opportunities that are fun and social. Please vote for me so that I can help you make Claudia Parsons a more fun and inclusive place through fun volunteering opportunities.
Media & Stash Representative
The Media and Stash Representative will be the social media manager of the hall; Design a range of templates, stash and content for the hall; Take photographs of events and report the outcome; Attend Media & Stash meetings.
Olivia Zazzi-Smith
I’ll guarantee Claudia Parsons has the best social media presence for 2027-2028. Other halls won’t stand a chance. Putting Claudia Parsons on top is my main goal.
Alfie Modestos Blueman
I have a huge passion and love for designing and drawing. Any challenge including the word “design” (whether it be big or small) I will always enjoy and put my all in to. I’m doing Industrial Design, which I’d hope helps to further show my love for design. I love trying to make any activity I’m taking part in a fun one, which will be my goal when doing all activities during my time on committee and more. In terms of experience, I have a lot revolving around making content on social media for the purpose of having as much fun as possible whilst making it understandable as I have my own YouTube channel with 2.6k subscribers where I’ve posted, edited and created the thumbnails of many videos. Alongside this, I was the Social Creative for a marketing agency in my work experience and I managed all the agency’s Instagram posts and content for an entire week! To top it all off, I held the title of ‘Director of Fun’ (the DOF) in my sixth form, so I’d hope that helps to show that I could provide some fun contributions if I was a Media and Stash Rep.
