Ahmad Asadullah is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Information Management group at Loughborough Business School. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems from the School of Computing, National University of Singapore, where he also worked as a Research Fellow.

His primary research focuses on Digital Platform with particular attention to the relationships between central and non‑central actors in digital platform ecosystems. He investigates topics related to value creation and capture as well as power dynamics.

His work has appeared in leading Information Systems outlets, including peer‑reviewed articles presented at premier conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), and the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS).

Over recent years, he has received several academic recognitions and editorial roles, including:

  • Editorial Review Board Member, Information Systems Journal (since 2024)
  • Kauffman Foundation Best Student Paper Award, ICIS 2020
  • Best Reviewer Award, ECIS 2021

Ahmad is a member of the Association of Information Systems (AIS). He is also a member of the Information Systems Journal’s editorial review board and an ad hoc reviewer for several other journals and conferences, including:
