Pop-up Maker Space x Wellbeing Centre

A teal background with a light pink circular shape in the middle with the title 'Pop-Up Maker Space'.

Everyone knows that it’s good to take a break from your desk or screens for a short while, and doing something creative can be great for your wellbeing. Whether you’ve got 15mins or an hour, there’s something you can make or do in the time you have.

For this special off-campus pop-up, the main activities will be badge and bookmark making. Use our fancy badge maker to create your own badge to keep or gift to someone else. Decorate the pre-cut bookmarks with pens, stickers and craft punches, and don’t forget to add a tassel!

In addition to this, there will be basic art materials available for you to use, including paper, paints, origami and colouring sheets.

Our Arts Events Assistants will be on hand to welcome you and chat! Hot drinks and cake will be provided.

Our campus Pop-up Maker Space sessions take place on the fourth Thursday of the month in different locations from 12.30-2.30pm. Keep an eye on our website for details of each session.

Accessibility

There is step free access into the Wellbeing Centre and an accessible toilet is available.

If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like the organisers to be aware of, please let them know in advance by emailing LU.Arts@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk and they will do their best to accommodate them.
